Sexy mama!

Tonight, Candied Jansen sent me this picture.

This picture was taken in 2005, about 10 months after her son was born.  She was commenting on her leg muscles in the picture because she is working on getting in better shape.

She also recently posted this picture on Facebook.

July 2006.  The point of this picture is her abs.  She wants them back.

What I noticed about these pictures and a couple others that she sent me was how sexy she was.  And she still is.  She might have gained a few pounds, but the girl oozes sex appeal.  And she has sexy clothes!

I look at my pictures from anytime in my life, and I was never that sexy!  I don’t have any sexy clothes.  I never have.  I was conservative and prudish and would have died a thousand deaths before wearing something like this!

When I told Candied Jansen that I didn’t know if I was brave enough to wear sexy clothes, she said that I just hadn’t embraced the fact that I was sexy yet.  And that she was fine with me just walking around naked until then.

I love her!

  1. I used to live in belly barring clothes. Now, however, I am 56. I cover up nicely….

    • I’m sad that I never did belly barring clothes when I was younger! I have way too many stretch marks now to even want to show my belly! I’m not ashamed of them, but I certainly have no real desire to show them off either! Candied probably wouldn’t walk around in those same things now even if she had those legs and abs back. I’ll be 45 in a couple of weeks and she’s 43. Aging…it happens. Been thinking about you and your finger. Hope and prayers for a speedy recovery.

  2. Candied is definitely sexy in these pics! The clothes are part of it but really it’s the attitude that makes someone sexy. They have to feel good about themselves and ooze confidence. I’m always glad when I check in over here and see you two still together and happy. It fills me up with joy. 🙂
